My back ground:
I got married in mid 2009 in India and I came to US.
My spouse did not join me till now.
In my paycheck I have status as Married. than at the year end when I am filling the tax returns, my Tax consultant said that I should change the status to single.
Reason: If you say married, u need ITIN number as she is not here you cannot get ITIN. so keep the status as single.

so my tax returns for 2009 and 2010 is single.
I did not visit india from 2009.
Now we have filled for sepataion in the court.
I should be getting the Divorce any time.
Now I am planning to come to India and go for Visa in Chennai (or) Hyderabad
1) what should I keep my status . (Married (or) Divorce)
2) I am also planning to get married early next year. so if I keep as Divorce will there be any issued later?
3) Can you please guide from the visa and interview perceptive.
