H4 - Hyderabad Consulate

Hi,

My wife is applying for H4 visa in Hyderabad consulate. Do I need to submit a client letter for H-4 visa interview also? Please advise.

That's not a mandatory document, but a support document

I read cases where they asked for principal applicants client letter and issued 221(g) to submit the same.

If it’s not hard to get one from your client (without effecting your contract), make sure to get that before the interview, else try you luck without one and worst case they issue 221(g) and you can respond back with client letter.

I do not hear any cases where they rejected H4 just because she is not carrying client letter of yours.
