H1B visa stamping query

Hi,
My H1B was applied in June 2010 and my work permit was approved in Oct 2010. My company sent me for an assignment to Shanghai in Oct 2010 so i could not get my stamping done. I will come back to India in February 2012 and I am planning to get my stamping done in February / March 2012. The work permit is valid till Oct 2012.
My question is will there be any problem in getting the visa stamping done since there is long gap between work permit approval and visa stamping ?

No. As long as the job in U.S is still available at that time and you have all the supporting documents, you can appear for the visa interview.
