  • L1 to H1B COS premium processing

    Hi All,

I've been working for company A on L1 for past 1.5 years, and in Nov 2011, employer B did L1B to H1B COS and it is a premium processing.

NOV 30 2011 I got the RFC and USCIS is asking about my educational back ground evolution. My employer has responded to the RFC on Dec 2.

So far, I did not hear anything from an USCIS and I am still waiting for the approval, so how long should I wait for my approval ?

Kindly let me know if you have ever faced the same situation…

I am bit worrying my approval date as I have an offer and they asked me to join on 28 DEC… I don’t know what I have to do……….

It will take anywhere between 1-3 months from the date of responding to the RFE in normal process. You can upgrade to premium and get the result within 15 days.

Then you should hear back within 15 days from the date of receipt of your RFE documents by USCIS.
