Marriage certificate for dependent visa

Hi All,

My husband is in US on H1 visa and i would like to move there on dependent visa but i do not have the marriage certificate, so i would like to know whether the interviewer asks me for the marriage certificate compulsorily when i go for visa interview and if yes, will an affidavit work for this purpose plus the marriage album and what else can be done in this matter. Plz help me out..................

Marriage certificate for dependent visa

It is always best to carry the Marriage Certificate especially when one is going without the spouse for dependent visas such as L2/H4.
