Hello,
I'm planning to go to india for my H1b stamping. There is typo in my 1-797 document.
I do not have surname in my passport. so in I-797, name is 'NO MAME GIVEN' YYYY XX YYYY X
( YYYY XX YYYY X -- my name). So the name is printed fine, just that "NAME" is typed as 'MAME'.
I informed the same to the lawyer of my company who filed my petition. She tols me that it is a typo done by government that can be easily understood, so no need of amendment.
So do you guys think it should not be problem.
