H1b visa stamping Dec 27th second time

First time they just took my docs and told me that they will contact me later, they did not issue any kinda 221g forms. Got a call to come to the consulate a week ago and i was asked some questions and noted down the answers and made me sign on that sheet. Told me that they would contact me in a week. Any idea why?

Hi , Similar situation with me at Chennai Consulate on 12 th Dec. All my documenmts were returned along with the passport and no slip was given.The VO said that they would contact me in a week and I am still waiting for the call. Can you let me know in how much time they got back to you after your first interview?

same situation

Hi they asked me some questions and made me sign on it.
Its been 2 weeks already and even I dint get any answer from them.
In one case I heard they took the applicants i-797 and got a denial, but in my case they retuned to me.
ANy updates??
