  • Employer reluctant for tax return

    Hi
I am a Licensed physical therapist to practice in US. I went to US for my masters in jan 2009 , came to visit India in nov 2011 . I am a direct hire by my employer. My h1b started from sept 1 2011, was working on OPT with same employer. During visa interview i was given blue slip under 221 g. I submitted the required documents except employers tax returns as my employer did not provided ,but have given a thorough explanation about how t the company works and a brief history, have also provided the notarised list of all the employee's. What are the chances of my visa approval???

    PLease guide me...
    Thanks

If the employer doesn't want to hand over the company's tax returns to you, then they can directly send it to the consulate. It is hard to predict what might be the outcome of your 221g without that. It depends on the VO and how important is that document to take a decision on your 221g.
