thats true bro, even my friends got green slip in hyderabad , and got cleared in 3 weeks times,they are having EC model ,as do I.
they told green slip is more of a check when embassy want to find out that who has control on employee,client or employer?
what cycle you work in?are u in consulting thing or full time directly ?BEP?

PS: 1 thing i noted,i started having fun once again since last few days,after forgetting about this whole visa thing and then suddenly email came asking me to submit previous passport.Even embassy does not want you to forget all this 221g mess,lolz,,

I have been waiting since 2nd Dec.11 after they issued me green slip asking for employer's documents.. They havent ask anything after that.. sometimes i even think that New Delhi embassy not even working on pending cases..!!! My passport is also with them..!!! i see many cases getting cleared from Mumbai embassy but very rare updates from New Delhi..!!! I hope we all get through this 221g mess..

Hi

I got an email from vfs asking me to submit the copy of bio-page of all the passports previously held by me ,as I donot have any passport other than the 1 ,I have already submitted on interview day itself ,so i replied by saying i did not have any other passport.
atleast after 6 weeks and 1 day ,some response has come from VFS,even though I still do not know it is positive or negative sign!!!
(looks like mine struck in common sikh name issue)
will keep this forum posted.

yours is a different case ,they asked you to provide documents ,which is good sign that you will get visa in 3-4 weeks(if coorect and accurate),as they will do the checks based on those documents only.
ours(mine and anand) is they issued us pink slip but dont have to submit documents, which might be because VO issued full background check and it will take time
to do that,so it has no set processing time.

thats the summary of reading so many blogs.
good luck to you and submit correct information,you will definitely be 6th individual to get visa.

So far i have come across 7 individuals who have been given the 221g and pretty much 5 of the 7 have already got thier visas... it a matter of submitting the right and accurate documentation.

thats true bro,,waiting is one option,but another thing is start working remotely,i have started doing the same,mine is EC model and client is okay with it.
good luck to you as next week is 4th week for you and is crucial one.

No help for 221g. Just forget about visa or Only one thing wait wait and wait as per your patience. Good bye guys I choose the first one.

221g Green Slip ! Victim

Hey guys am another victim of the 221g [ green - chennai consulate ] . I have a quick question about the internal project details - namely the below question ..


" A detailed and specific description of the internal development project to which you will be assigned. Include a complete technical description of the project, employer, timeline, current status, number of employees assigned, budget, worksite location, and marketing analysis for the final product "

Can you please assist / direct me what we should be putting in for the reply on this as i am currently on the EVC model and my employer is a consulting firm with no internal projects .. we all work at the client locations and on client projects..

If you have a template for this ..it will of great help. Please help.

i gave interview on april 5th in newdelhi,and i got pink slip 221 g and didnt have to submit any documents.and yes lady at counter 30 told me it will take 3-4 weeks.my 4th week has already started and still waiting,

Did they say that they will return the passport within specific time? In my case they said they will return it in 3-4 weeks with pink slip and no docs asked to submit.

Its horrible to keep passport for 5 months. What they actually doing? There should be PP option for 221g. Are you calling VFS office, what are they saying? If I have to visit another country than what will I do?

In my case they never mentioned any time period. My case is in administrative process as per embassy, my employer verification is also done in first week of march. Everything was nice and smooth as mentioned by visiting officers, according to them i was supposed to get it by 2-3 weeks from the embassy. Still no good sign from the embassy...!!! And you can ask them to return your passport if you have something important, they would ask for it again whenever they are ready to stamp it...! I am not going anywhere out of India at present so i thought, let them keep it..!!! And that way i have positive hope that they did not reject my case yet..!!!

I don't think that they will keep the passport for long time. They have taken the passport that's the positive thing. Sometimes it happens(as per the forum) that they give the 221g and return the passport. I think that guys are waiting for years.

In my case VO didn't see any docs and I had everything.

I do not want to disappoint you here regarding your concept about the passport..!!! My passport is also with New Delhi embassy since the day of interview from last 5 months..!!! They have not returned it to me yet..!!! I got green slip from the embassy in Dec.11... but one thing i figured out so far that they would return your passport if they are not sure of issuing visa..!!! Lets hope for the best..!
