H1B - Can I put in a request for premium processing after RFE?

Hi,

My company had applied for an H1B for me, which was filed with USCIS
Now the status showed RFE sent.

Is it possible to convert this petition to the premium mode now?

You can upgrade the petition to premium anytime. However, the premium processing will take effective only after they receive the response to the RFE. Until you submit the documents requested in RFE, the processing will not restart. The petition can be upgraded to premium along with the documents that you will submit for the RFE to get a response within 15 days.
