F1 Visa while H1B 221G Under processing

Hello,
Can I apply F1 Visa from a very good university (only study purpose) while my H1B 221g under processing?

I received 221g GREEN @New Delhi Consulate on March 1st. I haven't received any response yet...so I'm just thinking back up plan because my wife stays in USA. Please let me know.

Thanks Shervin....My wife is also on F1 visa, she is doctor and preparing for USMLE exams, mean while she is doing MBA in Hospital Management from a good university.

I think I can apply F2 visa, but I heard there are very less chances to approve it seems! What do u suggest? Thanks again.

If your wife is in F1 and if she is maintaining her F1 status, then you definetely have the option of applying for F2 (assuming you maintained your immigration status while you were in U.S).
