Can I use h1 visa with previous employer details for entry into USA

I have a valid h1b visa from my previous employer till Aug 2013. My petition with new/current employer is valid till Sept 2014. I work as full time employee with reputed s/w firm at usa.

I have used my old visa to enter into USA in Jan 2012. Due to family emergencies I need to travel to India on weekend. I am scared to go for visa stamping due to recent 221g cases and wanted to check if it okay to avoid visa stamping when my existing h1 visa stamp with old employer name is still valid.

Of course you can use current Visa and new petition approval notice to travel to US for the new employer. You say you have already done it once, why do you think you can't do it again?
