H1b and H4 Visa together

Hello Sir/Madam,
I am planning to apply for an H1b visa for myself and an H4 visa for my wife on the same day, in the same interview slot. I was wondering that apart from filling out two different DS 160 form, will I be needing to pay Visa application fee two times even if we both are planning to come for the interview on the same day and in the same slot?

Yes. I had to do the same thing for my wife and myself.

Yes. The fee is not for conducting the visa interview. It is for processing the visa. So each individual who seeks a U.S visa need to pay the visa fee.
