  • H1 transfer- Client transfer and travelling to India

    HI one and all-

I am visiting India on Apr 5'th. I would greatly appreciate if someone can help my query.

    1. I changed my job from company A to company B and my H1 transfer/extension was filed by company B for NJ. so all the paperwork was given for NJ.
In one week, my client wanted me to travel to Arizona and hence i moved to Arizona.

MY H1 was approved in 5 months.

I have LCA for Arizona with me.
Now i am travelling to India and my POE will be LA, the question is will it be a problem and do i need to carry any additional docs with me except for the one's mentioned below.

    1. Pay stubs- latest 4 months
    2. Client letter- with latest date and location mentioned as Phoenix.
    3. H1 approval notice for B
    4. B Joining letter.
    5. LCA for Phoenix
    6. Previous Company H1 papers.
    7. Tax return forms

I am not going for stamping since A stamping is valid till 2012 end.

Is there anything else i need to carry?
    Thanks a lot.

Do you have the H1B amendment for Phoenix?

Did you chcek the link that I have provided in the previous reply? H1B amendment is required in your case and it is not worth taking a chance at the visa interview without an amendment. There are cases where 221g is issued for this very same purpose.
