6 year period on H1b

Dear Forum,

I will complete my first three years on the first job on H1b by June 20 th 2012. I will be starting my second job by July 1st 2012. My question is will by remaining three years time period will start by June20Th 2012 or from July 1st 2012?? Thanks, Raghavesh

What exactly are you planing to do. Are you inside U.S? Have you filed the H1B transfer and did it get approved ? What are you planning to do from 21st June to 30th June? If you are inside U.S without a job in H1B status, then you are considered out of status on H1B. Unless you are outside U.S for that 10 days, your H1B status will continue irrespective of whether you are working or not.
