H1B Visa Stamping in Singapore for Non-Resident

Hello,

Appreciate if anyone can advise at the earliest? I have just got my H1B visa approved and have received original I797B from my employer. In notice of approval letter, it is clearly mentioned to attend interview at Singapore Consulate to get H1B visa stamping. I have Indian passport and have been working in Singapore from last 6 months only.

My question is

(a) Though It has been advised as per I797 to attend Interview at Singapore however should I be eligible to attend interview here or i need to go back to India for stamping.

(b) I have read the complete document I129 and I797 sent by my employer but there is no where mentioned about my marital status nor mention anything about my spouse to accompany me as dependant. This is fist time I have got my H1B petition approved and I want to get my wife along with me to US on H4 visa. So do i need to ask my employer to apply separate I129 petition for my wife or she can attend H4 visa interview based on my I129 and I797 approval notice.

(c) If separate I129 petition wouldnt be required for my wife then can we both attend visa interview for H1B for myself and H4 for my wife on very same day.

>>> There is nothing to apply for H4. She will have to attaned the H4 visa interview based on your H1B approval notice. Once the H4 visa gets approved, she can travel to U.S on that H4 visa and your I-797 approval notice.

>>> You can infact take the appointment together in a single slot. Separate DS160 and visa fee need to be paid though.
