I want to know if a spouse on H4 visa can work in the US. If yes what are the exact steps involved. Any helpful replies are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link. I think the H4 dependent can also work if the spouse changes his visa type from H1 to L1 .. any idea regarding this ?

If you change your status to L1, then the L2 dependents can work provide they apply and get an EAD.
