Change of Status H1-H4-H1

Hello

I have a H1b but i got laid off last year. Therefore i changed my status o h4. Then i found a job and the employer filed change of status from h4 to h1 which got rejected.
Now i have found another employer who is ready to file for the change of status for me from h4 to h1.

Will the previous rejection cause any kind of problem in the change of status now ?
Does this mean that my h1b got denied ?
