FBAR filing for H1

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right forum for an IRS question, any leads will be greatly appreciated.
I wanted to know if FBAR filing( last date 30th June) is mandatory for individuals employed in US through deputation from foreign organisations ( or MNCs).
Would anybody be able to provide inputs in this regard?
