Site Visit by USCIS officers.

Hey I wanted to Know do the USCIS officers do the site visit on First time H1B approvals or only to the extensions? Cause my H1B approved just few days back and heard from manager that my contract will be terminated by the end of this month due to budget issues.Please help me

They will do it anytime that want. They do it even for people who are in U.S in h1B status for more than 6 years (Extension filed based on the I-140 approval).
