H1B transfer -- H4 query?

My new employer is filing for my H1b Visa transfer. What are the rules regarding my spouse's H4?

--> Is there any separate fee for H4 transfer?
--> does it have to be applied together with H1 transfer?

her I-94 will expire in Jan 2015.. but that is based on my current petition..

Well, there is no need to file her H4 extension in that case. H4 is not associated to any of your employers. As long as you are maintaining your H1B status (irrespective of which H1B sponsor you are working for), your dependents will remain to be in H4 status as long as their H4 I-94s remain valid. You will have to file the H4 along with the H1B only if the H4 I-94 is about to expire within 6 months.
