H1B File Number received - Meanwhile passport update

Hi,

My H1B is filed on april 19th and meanwhile I had gone for passport update.

As my passport was still in active (not expired) they had put a seal as "Cancelled" and I will be getting a new passport in few days. I'm bit worried as my new pasport will have a new number which would be different from the cancelled one. however during the H1b processing old pasport number was being submitted. Would it be a problem during stamping or anywhere? Please guid me.

No issues. Carry both the old and the new passport when you attend the visa interview.
