H 1B visa interview - client letter

Hi,

I have to appear for H1 B visa interview in Aug. My company is not providing me individual client letter and asking me to go for visa interview without it.
My question is what are the chances of rejection if you do not have client letter with you ?

What if VC asks me for client letter and I tell them that I am not having it.

Please guide, what are the things I should take care of in this case.

It totally depends on the officer - he may / may not accept it. In absence of a client letter, try taking the SOW and maybe a generic client letter that says they have outsourced so and so work to your company and your company has the right to staff whoever they want, and they do not control any work. Try taking a letter from your company supervisor saying he/she is responsible for supervising and allocating you work. Take your client id, maybe printout of your profile on their intranet, and a few emails to show you are still with the project.

No guarantee any of these will work but its better than going empty handed

Its good to have it,especially when multiple layer are involved between the Employer /Employee/Client. If the VO asks for it you have to say you dont have it. You might get a 221G for it and if that happens eventually You/Company will have to furnish some proof of it for the Visa Processing to go ahead. This is my opinion not legal advice.

It totally depends on the VO. Having a client letter is the best case but in the absence of it; you can try with these docs - it may work, may not work, nobody can predict that
