  • H1-B visa extension after 6 year

Hi All - Would you please assist on below question:

My H1-b 6 year period is over and got an extension after that and it’s valid till December 2013 with company A. Now I want to change company A to company B. Is it possible to get extension from company B if I join?

Note: My labor and I-140 is approved with company A want to shift company B to process GC with old priority date.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Yes, you can use the same approved I-140 to file an H1B Extension with Company B. And remember to port your I-140 to your new Employer. Thanks and Good Luck!

Thanks a lot hireitpeople.Would you please also assist on below:

What documents are required to port I-140 from company A to company B? I got only I-140 receipt notice from my employer.

Note: I am sure they will not provide I-140 approval notice to me.Then what are options are available?

      Thanks again.
