Hi,
I attended my H1B new visa interview at Chennai on 6th of september and the visa officer just asked me two questions
who is your client ? and what will be your salary in usa and was working on his system for more than 2-3 minutes and then said ' I am eligibLe for H1B visa but need to undergo another routine process' and gave me a pink slip and also told me to go to another counter to answer some questions. Again He insisted, I am eligible for H1B visa but needs to go thru routine process.
The lady at 31 counter asked me questions about my previous employment and countries visited and brothers info and my height and said it would take 4-8 weeks for the process.
Can soem one tell me what is going on? I have read from forums that it is for security clearnace.
I dont have any common muslim name and I have not travelled to any countries except singapore and USA.
