Family name misspelled in the I797 notice

Hi
i got H1B COS approval a week back.
But unfortunately my employer filed the I129 with the wrong family name(patyiala instead of patiyala)with one character jumbled.
So i got the I797A with this misspelt family name.Apart from I797 and I129, all the remaining all the forms has the correct family name.
Do my employer need to apply ammendment application?
If so, What form we have to apply(new I129)?
Is new LCA required for this amendment ?
What is the fee for amendment and process time?

New LCA is not needed. Let your employer or their lawyer know about this and they will take care of it.

My employer knows abt it and they are trying make amendment petition. For that they put new LCA as well in that process.
Is the amendment petition required for this name corrected or some letter from employer will work?

Like above. This is not your problem, let your employer take care of that. If they have hired good lawyers, they will know.
