It's true you don't need stamping of h1b in American consulate in Canada, but to travel to Canada u need a visa from Canada embassy in USA

Both of you will need Visas to Canada. You will need business Visa and wife will need Visitor Visa.

I hold a American H1B visa and am currently employed in Colorado. My wife is on an H4 visa with me. I have to travel to Canada for a week for a business purpose. I want my wife to accompany me as well. Should I apply for a work visa for myself and a travel visa for my wife? How does this work? I heard a visa is not required to travel to Canada if the travel is less than 30 days. But does that hold true for H1B and H4 visa holders as well?
