Does a US educated nurse need to go though CGFNS visa screening process, even though all the nursing credentials are earned in the US? Anybody has experience in this?

No. CGFNS is only for nurses educated outside USA. Even though you may be a foreign national, you are considered native for credentialing purposes since you completed your nursing education in the USA.
