I have a friend, who was handcuffed and taken away. He called another friend and told him he was being deported. I have not heard from him since. Who can I contact or how can I go about trying to locate him or see what his status is? How long does it take before they get him back to France?

I have no idea what the deportation procedures are, but I think you should check with your local consulate for the country your friend is from, they should be able to inform you.
