  • Derivative applicant Immigration

My uncle sponsored us to go to USA through F4 visa. Recently we've got our visa. My mother is the principal applicant. I'm her son, the derivative one. My status is "accompany".
I want to know- Can I go to USA after my mom? They'll go to USA in this month and I'm planning to join them after a month. Is this possible? Or I must go with her to the USA for the first?
Please let me know. I'm confused ????

You can go at any time after she goes as long as you still qualify as a derivative beneficiary (i.e. under 21 and unmarried).

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
