help for filing income tax return for2013- form 1040NR..correct?
Hi,
I , on L-1 visa, arrived to US, for the first time on 31st august 2013 alongwith my wife.Hence i am Non resident alien for this year and hence have selected the same on my W-4 form.
Help required to file my income tax and state tax returns( like 1040NR- correct?) for the current year as i have no idea how to proceed further.
Also, what deductions can i claim or how can i save my taxes?
Also i would be a resident alien for 2014 and wife is looking for job( as she possess valid EAD card).So what would be a suitable residential status for filing tax returns for next year( i have heard abt married and joint filing etc)
