Hello,

Currently i am on dependent visa and visited USA this month (MAR-17) and spouse already working since 2 months and have SSN number.

When can i apply ITIN number for me? Is there any prerequisites to complete to get ITIN number?

At present , he don't have W2 forms. Shall i wait till year end to get W2 forms from employer?

Which year are you talking about? Right now, you are filing taxes for 2016. 2016 W2s should have been received a while ago. If you are married as of Dec 31, 2016, you can file as Married Filing Jointly for 2016 tax returns, which will require you to submit a W-7 to apply for an ITIN together with the submission of the two of you's joint tax return. If you and your spouse were not in the US and did not have US income for 2016 then there may not be a need to file a 2016 tax return, in which case you don't need to get an ITIN.
