Work in Canada during L1A Stay in US

Hi Friends,

I am currently on L1A VISA in US and my dependents on L2. I also hold Canada work permit.
My company is planning to staff me in a project which is based out of Canada and I am expected to work out of Canada 3 days per week and work out of US 2 days per week. So, i will be travelling to Canada every week Monday through Wednesday and then work from US for Thursday and Friday.

My Qs are -

1. Is this work arrangement legal from Immigration and VISA perspective?
2. Will there be any issue while i enter US every week?
3. During my stay in Canada, my dependents will be in US. Is this legal?

Thing to note - I will get paid in US during this work arrangement.
