  • Didn't move to the US after getting the L1 Visa. Can I still extend it?

I was granted an L1 Visa in 2018 but I ended up not moving to the US. I continue to work for the same employer in my own country. The expiration date of the Visa is in 2023 but the PED date is in two months (December 2020). Do I need to extend it before the PED date? If I do, what are the chances of my Visa being extended, given I ended up not moving to the US?
I'd like to renew it in case I decide to move in the next couple of years.

    Thanks!

You need to extend your 129 petition only. If you have already visa stamped then I guess you don’t need to go for visa stamping after 129 approval. Nowdays it takes almost 6 months to extend I129.
