Hello Everyone,

Can we apply for L2 EAD renewal on the basis of valid i94?

Below are the dates:

L1B visa expiry : July 15,2021
L1B i797 expiry : Indefinite
L1B i94 valid till : June 16, 2023
L2 visa expiry : July 15,2021
L2 EAD expiry : July 15,2021
L2 i94 valid till : June 16, 2023

Considering the processing time in USCIS, I don’t want to risk my employment. Please let me know if L2 EAD renewal is possible on valid i94. My husband’s employer is planning to file for the extension around April ( They won’t file earlier due to some reason ). Once I have the clarity I will consult an attorney and apply for my renewal ASAP.

Any leads would be appreciated.
