Applied for L2 extension and L2-EAD concurrently 135 days ago. Just had a job offer..

.. with my L2-EAD is about to expire in a week!

My L2-EAD and I-539 were both filed 135 days ago. My spouse (L1-A primary) has already been granted the 2 year work visa extension.

I now have a job offer to hand, but literally days to go on my existing L2-EAD expires.
:-(

My questions:

1) Are i-539 and ead processed in parallel? Or does the i-539 need to be processed first before the EAD application is even looked at?

2) Will USCIS consider expediting EAD if I can prove the job offer?
