I did the same, Did you create a new user name too while signing up with the new email id? I did that but I am still getting the same error - passwords dont match, new questions have been added". any solution to this?

I got scammed by a slot seller . He took the money and changed my security questions and has been demanding money he has cancelled my appointments and now my account is blocked and unable to log in. I have emailed support and the response is the other email is already tagged to the profile while i have not used that id before. can some one please help me i nthis situation . My kids are in USA and i am here stuck i do not have an appointment until october and hence went through an agent and he literally ahas scammed me and now threatning me that he will block all my accounts . please can some one help

I opened a case through usvisascheduling portal using a family member’s profile. They requested me to share an unused email ID (email ID which is not used for usvisascheduling account), once I provided the info and along with passport copy the my account was transferred to the new email ID. After signing up using the email ID I was able to access my account. The issue was solved within 2 days,

In step 2, it prompted me with the primary account security question, and fortunately, I remembered it. This helped me to reset the security questions and regain access.

After multiple attempts trying to get help over the last 15 days , finally had security questions updated and got access to portal.
Here are the steps
1) Login to portal ( can use friend or family member portal or create a new account just for this sake)
2) Open a case through the portal , requesting for email address update on impacted account and attached passport copy
3) Note down the case number and reach help desk via phone ( After 10 PM or 11 PM PST worked best , 45 - 50 min is the wait time )
4) Wait on the call while they update the email address
5) Sign up using the new address after 3-6 hrs
Tips
- Having a case number makes huge difference in getting assistance from customer support.
- Limit to one question per case and keep it simple and very clear
- Avoid re-opening the case , instead create a new one ( always reference your previous cases)
- Must use an email address that is not associated with any account in USVisa Scheduling portal ( Create a new email if needed)
- Do not sign up using the new email address immediately after the having it updated , wait for 3 hours at the least ( or you will have to create a new email and go back to step 1)
- Best time to reach is after 11PM PST , at time the number is not reachable. Keep trying every 30 min. ( (703) 520-2239)
- Minimum wait time to talk to customer rep is 45 - 55 min ( Hang in there !!)
- Not all customer rep or well aware of the process or very helpful. ( keep trying till you get the right person to help)
Hope this helps , it took me 15 days and 7 calls with customer support. Nearly 10 cases and 5 unresponsive emails to help desk. It’s beyond frustrating , but it is what it is ..

This method worked for me as luckily, I was asked the only question I remembered but what you said it right.
