Passport renewal f-1 student

Hi,
I am f-1 visa student living in US, my passport is going to expire within 4 months, my nationality is indian, I am planning to visit india this july, will i face any problems
when entering india. ?

I know that to come back to US i shud have atleast 6 months before expiry, so i planning to renew in india and then comeback to US.
