F-2 visa apoointment - SEVIS number
Hi,
I'm scheduling a visa appointment for my wife under F-2 visa category. I’m on F-1 visa status with STEM OPT extension. I am having the following doubt in filling up Visa appointment for her.
Under Student and Exchange Visitor Program Details section, there is an option to enter SEVIS Number (attached screenshot). My doubt is whether I should write my SEVIS number from F-1 I-20 or my wife's SEVIS number from F-2 I-20. And who should be the Principle Applicant?
According to me, I should fill up like this:
SEVIS Number: * My wife’s SEVIS number
University Name: * My university name
University Zip Code: * My university ZIP code
Principle Applicant's Name: * My name
Principle Applicant's Visa Class: * My Visa status (F1)
Kindly let me know if my understanding is correct. If not and if something needs to be changed here can you please guide me on this. Appreciate your help.
