Dentist going for F1 visa

Hi,

I finished by Bachelors in Dental Science in India and got accepted into Oral biology program in the US university.

Can someone please tell me if its difficult for dental students to get the F1 visa? Has anyone appeared for the visa interview for oral biology.

I will really appreciate any suggestions or help.

I was wondering whether they would give me a F1 from india or would it be better to change my status from B1 to F1 in USA???

If you have applied and have gained admission into a US college, prior to entering the US, you cant apply for a F1 within the US. To do so would mean that youre lying on your I-194
