Hi,
I need help urgently. I am on H1B visa which is expiring on 9 May 2019. I want to do change of status to F2 visa since my wife is on F1 visa. I have few question.
1. Can I file an application for COS (H1 to F2) based on Proof of Receipt of my wife's F1 OPT Extension.
2. If I leave USA while my application for COS is pending will my stay be considered Out of Status?
3. What happens if my wife's extension or my COS is denied? Will our stay be considered Out of Status? If Yes what happens after that?
