I am an Indian citizen and incoming graduate student at a US university in Fall 2019. I have applied for an F1 visa from India with the scheduled appointment in mid-June and paid the MRV fee.
However, I will be on an academic traineeship/internship in Australia from June to August (until a week before term start at Berkeley; proof of employment and itinerary available, booked in Feb) and can either appear for interview in May at Mumbai or June/July at Sydney (dates available). Can I transfer my appointment (with MRV fee paid) to Australia. The Stanley website does not let me change country of application: can you advise me if this is a possibility?
