Background:
I was F1 Visa holder for the past 6 years and I let it expire this January by not signing up for spring classes.
I recently got married and we submitted AOS paperwork but don’t have the receipt just yet.
Both parents are green card holders.
Current:
I’m out of F1 status but I submitted my Indianpassport renewal with my last I-20 (expiring May on the paper). But the DSO did inform me that my I-20 had been terminated.
Should I call and have my renewal cancelled? I don’t want to get into trouble for using a non valid I-20. Does VFS verify immigration status?
