Which one is better for me as a college student - F1 / Green Card EAD?
I am 17 years old attending college in Fall 2021. My father has applied for green card(485) in Oct 2020 and will get EAD in few months. Whether I am eligible to use EAD for my internships in college, or I have to move to F1 visa. Which one is better F1 / EAD and which one will not effect my current green card process and age out condition.

When does your dad expect to receive his green card? What is your current status ? H-4? Did you go to HS in USA? If you are not illegal, why would you want to change your status to F1 now? Assuming you will receive your green card along with your Father, I would not change my status to F-1. 05/11 Interview done approval on the spot but no USCIS update online
