TN1 Visa for Canadians - length of Diploma/Certificate

Hi

I am an IT Architect, from Toronto, Canada. I am on the cusp of being offered a great job in California.

The requirements for TN visa status under NAFTA as a Computer Systems Analyst are:
Post-Secondary Diploma and three years of experience;
OR
Post Secondary Certificate and three years of experience.

I have an 1100 hour Post Secondary Diploma in Computer Science (The Institute of Computer Sciences, Canada). Would that be considered a "professional diploma" since it ran for 6 months and not 2 years?

I have 15 years of experience as a Consultant and can show proof of all this.

How does my case look for a TN1?

TN-1 for Computer System Analyst

Unless your course was at least 2 years in length, you will not be able to obtain TN status from Canada as a Computer Systems Analyst.
