Dear Sir/Madam

Do i need a Airport transit visa?

Now I am working in Manchester in IGS visa - international gratuate Scheme (kind of working visa), I would like to visit my birth country India on May from 03/05/08 to 01/06/08. I got the tickets in Air France from Manchester to India via Paris. transit time is not more that 5.30 hrs, i dont want to go out of Air port.

Do i need a French Airport transit visa? please advice ASAP.

Thanks for your immediate reply. So i am not going to apply for transit visa.Is there any extra charge over the transit visa fee in case the immigration people in Paris want me to get the visa stamped at the airport?

Do I need Airport Transit Visa

Hi Guys, I have few questions relating transit visa, Please advice:

I'm traveling to India through Air France airways, with a stop at Paris for 2 hours. Do i need to have a transit visa?

My H1-B is expired and I'm traveling to India to get it stamped. Will I be having issues in Paris, as my transit is through Paris.

Also my wife is travelling through the same airways with same route using her advance parole (her visa status is expired too). Will she still have any issues inspite of using her advance parole?

I am in the same boat now. Were you able to pass through Paris without transit visa?
