  • C1D to transfer from airport to cruise ship

I have a valid transit visa C1D , and I wish to fly to new york to board a cruise ship as a passenger and not a crewmember. And the departure from the ship will be done in Miami. Is my transit visa enough? I cannot apply Vwp or esta because my country isnt eligible.

Unless you're heading for a working trip, you can't use the C1/D. You need either a B2 or a straight C-1. Note a C-1 requires immediate and continuous transit through the US as well. If you are going to have to spend overnight getting down to Miami, you're going to need the B visa anyhow.
