    hello,

My mother aged 64 years is a practicing gynecologist in India (Hyderabad). i want her to come for my delivery which is dated in july. my concern is will she get a visa? and what should we mention in the DS-160 form??, should we mention she is a doctor or should we mention as a housewife as her passport doesn't have anything saying that she is a doctor. Kindly advice

You have to fill actual and genuine information in DS160 form.

Approval of visa will be based on the eligibility of applicant ie.. if she has strong ties to home country, which demands her to leave USA at the end of her trip and able to demonstrate the same before the VO and convince him/her, then she will get the visa.

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.

      Hi,

I too have the same issue i.e i want my mom to come to US for my wife delivery as we are staying at new jersey. My mom is working as government employee in India. Through one of my friend i got in contact to Y-Axis Overseas consultancy at Hyderabad and got my issue resolved. They have provided guidance to my mom for applying to dependent visa to US.

I recommend Y-axis Overseas Consultancy for you.

      Thanks,
      Ashish
