Visitors medical insurance...

Hi All!!

My parents are applying for visitor visa at chennai..appointment is in the month of Feb..In the documents visitors list there is an info about visitor medical insurance that if they ask about medical insurance ....what does this mean?
Is this insurance related to indian medical insurance where my parents have to take in india or it is US medical insurance that i should send with all the documents before going to interview?

please help...

Visitor medical insurance is the medical insurance while they are here in US. (Not Indian insurance while they are staying in India.)
