  • Parents Appointment

My mother and my siter have an appointment at the Us consulate in Chennai for June 5th.

I am inviting them over for my wedding that has been schedule for Nov..

My mother has been to the US in 1996 for 4 months. Later she applied for a visa even last year and got a 6 months visa but was unable to travel as my father was sick.

My father has passed away since. My sister is single, what are her chances.

I am stating that she is coming for the wedding and enclosing all documents from my wedding invitation to copies of my reception hall reservation contracts etc as proof.

Just waonder if anyone has any prior experince applying for attending son's wedding

      So what do you suggest?

We are a family, so they have to go together.

If she goes by helf she will stand absolutely no chance..... don't you see that.

This is not a please trip but attending a wedding so how can we have different family members go at different time, also you cannot hide it, as in th I130 I have to list the others I sponsored recently...

So I have no option but roll the dice...

My mother has a decent chance as they has been granted visa twice and has also visited here once.....

I wanted someone who has tried and got/or rejected, not what I should do or should not as that is mostly speculation.
